He was predeceased by: his father Richard F. Murphy; his siblings, Richard J. Murphy and Kathleen Hawkins; and his niece Lorraine Hawkins. He is survived by: his mother Jeanine Murphy (Nault); his wife Lynn M. Murphy (Trinque) of Westminster; his sons, Daniel Murphy (Kirsten Ziemke) of Gardner and Kevin Murphy of Westminster; his brother Sean Murphy (Michelle) of Leominster; his close friend John Leonard Jr.; and also Ernest Lecuyer of Winchendon. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
