He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Guerard and Anita Guerard. He is survived by: his wife Judith Guerard; his children, Jerome Guerard (Cynthia), Jean-Paul Guerard (Claudia) and Lorraine Paplaskas (Aaron); his grandchildren, Selina Lee (Chris), Justin Guerard, Zoe Guerard, Ainsley Paplaskas, Luc Guerard and Cort Paplaskas; his great grandchild Aspen Lee; and his sisters, Jacqueline Lacoste, Jeanne Mance Dauray and Madeleine McNulty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
