Arthur Rezendes Obituary
We announce the death of Arthur Rezendes of Westport, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 30, 2026. Arthur will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Arthur will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Arthur will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Arthur’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Rezendes (Arruda); his parents, Francisco Rezendes and Flora Rezendes (Santos); and his brothers, Frank Rezendes, Edward Rezendes and Lawrence Rezendes.
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas A. Rezendes of Westport, Robert J. Rezendes (Mary Jane) of Fall River and John Rezendes of Westport. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; along with nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. George Church (12 Highland Ave, Westport, MA 02790).
