We are sad to announce that on September 18, 2023, at the age of 97, Edith Moniz of Westport, Massachusetts passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edith Moniz to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband John Leo Moniz; her parents, Francisco Cabral and Maria Cabral (Araujo); and her brother Frank Cabral. She is survived by : her daughter Mary S. Correia; her grandchildren, Lorrie A. Cariglia, Dawn M. Correia and Derek W. Correia; and her great grandchild Ashleigh N. Corriea. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Edith was passionate and took pride in her talent of crocheting and often donated her handmade blankets to churches and senior centers.
