He was predeceased by: his parents, August and Evelyn Peixe (Costa); and his brother Manuel Peixe. He is survived by: his wife Brenda L. Peixe (Kent); his daughter Karen Niss of Hopkinton, MA; and his grandchildren, Mathias Niss, Klara Niss and Kristof Niss. He is also survived by nieces; a nephew; and many cousins.
