She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Michael Sr.; her parents, Joseph Furtado and Celina Furtado (McGuire); and her sisters, Shirley Furtado and Dolores Jean Silva.
She is survived by: her sons, Edward Michael Jr. of Fall River, Thomas Michael (Cheryl) of Assonet, Paul Michael (Sherry) of Dartmouth and Gary Michael (Jeanne) of Westport; her grandchildren, Edward III, Erin, Nathan, Tyler, Owen, Lauren and Ben; and her great grandchildren, Hailey, Evan, Olivia, Tyler Jr., Hadyn, Thomas and Henry.
