With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Madeleine J. (Boucher) Freitas of Westport, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Freitas, Jr.; her parents, Roland A. and Irene M. Boucher (Roy); and her sister Suzanne Akers. She is survived by: her son Dr. William P. Freitas (Becky); her grandchildren, Hunter, Ellsie and Griffin; and her brothers, Paul Boucher and Robert Boucher. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
