She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel J. Couto and Anjos Couto (Tavares). She is survived by: her husband Walter S. Amaral; her children, Walter D. Amaral (Debra) of Elgin, AZ, Catherine A. Fitch (Steven) of Westport, MA and Michelle Amaral (Misael) of Fall River, MA; her grandchildren, John and Rebekah; and her brothers, Joseph Couto of New Bedford, MA and Stephen Couto of South Carolina. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
