Mary D. Pavao Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary D. Pavao of Westport, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 18, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Mary farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gualdino Cabral and Andreza Cabral (Rodrigues); her son Brian Pavao; and her brother John J. Cabral (Carol). She is survived by: her husband Joseph Pavao, Jr. of Anne's Hospital; her daughter Brenda Rodrigues (Greg) of Wrentham, MA; and her brother Manuel R. Cabral (Kathryn) of Swansea, MA. She is also survived by four grandchildren, one great grandson, and seven nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Mary's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; 800-805-5856; https://www.stjude.org.
