Phyllis M. (Walsh) Carpenter-Michaud Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis M. (Walsh) Carpenter-Michaud of Westport, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husbands, George J. Carpenter and Normand Michaud; her parents, William Walsh and Martha Walsh (Coppinger); her brothers, William Walsh, Edward Walsh and John Walsh; and her stepgrandsons, Antone C. T. J. Carvalho, Jr. and Randy C. Carvalho.

She is survived by: her children, George J. Carpenter (Kristine) of Port Charlotte, FL, Paul Carpenter (Marion) of Westport, William C. Carpenter of Westport and Cathy Gibson-Carvalho (Tony) of Westport; her sister Margaret Hyland of Tiverton; her grandchildren, Heidi Lecomte, Philip Gibson, Elizabeth Carpenter-Higgins, George J. Carpenter, Amanda Carpenter, Adam Carpenter, Kelsey Anastasio and Kate Carpenter; and her stepgrandchildren, Margaret Luiz and Russell D. Luiz, Jr.. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
