He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Niland and Nora Niland of Mission Hill; and his brothers, Carl, Ralph, Michael, John and Daniel.
He is survived by: his former wife Sheila Niland (Mahan) of Mission Hill; his children, Steven (Caroline) of Franklin, Christina (John) of Sturbridge, Brian F. of Roslindale, Erik (Donna) of Bedford, NH and Leanne Biuso (Chris) of Northborough; his grandsons, Brian J. and Brett; and his sisters, Elaine McIntyre of Roslindale and Kathleen Baron (Kate) of Dedham.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in honor of Frank's life and legacy to the David James Hospice, Unit 2C, at the EN Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital, 200 Springs Rd. Bedford, MA 01730.
