He was predeceased by: his parent Boston; and his wife Anne Berger Christian. He is survived by: his children, James (Sara) of Braintree, Laura of Roslindale and Ben (Nicole) of Barrington, RI; and his sisters, Linda Templeton of Pomfret, VT and Carole Christian of Colfax, NC.. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home (649 High St, Westwood, MA 02090). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Parish Church of Westwood (252 Nahatan St, Westwood, MA 02090).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his memory to the Becket Chimney Corners YMCA, First Parish Church of Westwood, or S&J's Purple Miles, benefiting Project Purple.
