She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert B. Smith and Elizabeth Smith; her husband William "Bill" Gallagher; and her brother Bruce Smith. She is survived by: her children, Derek Smith (Laura) of Braintree, Megan Gallagher of Canton and Max Gallagher of Canton; her grandsons, Christian, Ciaran, Declan and Tommy; and her siblings, Stacey Sellman (Steven) of Plymouth, Susan Valley (Dan) of New Hampshire, Nancy Parker (Steve) of Pembroke and Beth Peterson of Pembroke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel (21 Pond St, Hingham, MA 02043). A reception was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the Leo's (703 Washington St, Braintree, MA 02184).
