She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Nelson, Jr. and Barbara Nelson; and her sister Karen Tise (Bob Tise) of Cape Coral, FL.. She is survived by: her child Ashley C. Nelson of Weymouth, MA.; her significant other Christopher M. Cope of Weymouth, MA.; and her siblings, Paula A. Nelson (Dick Jensen) of Newtown, PA and John Nelson, III (Caroline) of Clearwater, FL.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home North Weymouth (40 Sea St, Quincy, MA 02169). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 9:45 AM at the McDonald KeohaneFuneral Home - North Starts (40 Sea St, Quincy, MA 02169). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Jerome Church (632 Bridge St, North Weymouth, MA 02191). A reception will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Grill (151 Main St, Weymouth, MA 02188).
