She is survived by: her husband Jim Clapper; her daughter Kiley (Eric); her grandson Vade; and her sisters, Kaye Yeoman of Jacksonville, Jill Olsen (Dick) of Chicago and Mara Trousdale of Chicago. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Retirement brought Ann and Jim to Hull, MA where she moved in the midst of the pandemic in 2020.
