He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Kujanpaa (Keenan) and Eino A. Kujanpaa; his wife Janet; his children, Jacqueline M. Kuja and David M. "Duf" Kuja (Agnieszka "Aga") of Braintree; and his in-laws, Lorraine N. Hutchins (late Lawrence G. Hutchins, Sr.), Barbara L. Righini (late Paul F. "Jibby") and Righini, Jr..
He is survived by: his daughter Susan E. Noll (Richard) of Weymouth; his grandchildren, Emily R. Noll (Brittany), Olivia R. Noll, Timothy A. Noll, Alexander M. Chong, Christopher M. Kuja and Isabella E. Kuja; and his children, Paul Kuja, Thomas Kuja and Ellen Kuja. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
