David P. Noonan Jr. Obituary
David Paul Noonan Jr., affectionately known as D.J., passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 49. He was born on May 6, 1977, and spent a large part of his life in Weymouth, Massachusetts. After his time living in Weymouth, he moved to Gloucester, Massachusetts, where he would go on to build his life and make his home.
D.J. was the beloved partner of Lisa Fitzgerald, the love of his life. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, and countless memories. Lisa was by his side through the many chapters of his life, and together they shared the joy of raising their daughter, Isabella "Bella" Noonan.
Above all else, D.J. was a father. He was a loving dad to his five children: Taila Shields, Amber Crowley, Elizabeth Noonan, Isabella Noonan, and Lincoln Noonan. His children were his world, and he loved all five of them deeply. No matter where life took them or how their relationships changed over the years, they were always his children and held a special place in his heart.
D.J. will always be Francine's son. No matter how many years passed or how life changed, the bond between a mother and her child remained. She will carry the memories of her son and the love they shared in her heart always.
D.J. was a true jack of all trades, with a natural talent for working with his hands and figuring out how things worked. He expanded his expertise from car detailing into car tinting, remote starters, car audio, and other automotive work, where he was incredibly talented and took pride in what he could do. He was always willing to share his knowledge and skills with others. He also loved fishing and being at the ocean whenever he could.
Those who knew D.J. will remember his incredible sense of humor, contagious laugh, and unforgettable personality. He had a way of making people laugh and making his presence known wherever he went. His stories, his humor, and all the little things that made him uniquely D.J. will be deeply missed.
D.J. leaves behind his father, David Paul Noonan Sr., and his wife, Robin Noonan; his mother, Francine Hittinger of South Carolina, and her husband, David; his grandmother, Bernadette; his beloved partner, Lisa Fitzgerald; his five children, Taila, Amber, Elizabeth, Isabella, and Lincoln; his siblings, Shannon, Jessica, Mindy, Jamie, Steve, and Rich; and his niece, Alora. He was predeceased by his grandfather, David Wilson.
There are some people whose absence leaves a silence that can never truly be filled. D.J. will be one of those people. While his life ended far too soon, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain with the people who knew him. His children will carry their dad with them throughout their lives—in the stories they tell, the memories they share, and the pieces of him that live on in each of them.
Though we cannot have more time with him, we can be grateful for the time we were given—for every laugh, every lesson, every adventure, and every moment of love. D.J. will forever be a part of the people who loved him, and his memory will live on through the family he leaves behind.
