She is survived by: her husband Joe; her children, Sandy Volpe (Dom Perella) of Milton and Bob Volpe (Susan) of Florida; her grandchildren, Nick (Mackenzie) and Jonny (Madison); and her great grandchildren, Leo, Marlie, Georgia, Carter and Dax.

Donations may be made in memory of Dorothy to the Linden Ponds Benevolent Care Fund at 300 Linden Ponds Way, Hingham, MA 02043.
