Ethel M. Reid Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethel M. Reid of Weymouth, Massachusetts, born in West Roxbury, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 28, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ethel M. Reid to pay them a last tribute.

She is survived by: her husband Leo Reid of Weymouth; her children, Essie Lechiaro (Paul) of Millis, Kelly Moore (Scott) of Whitman, Tom Reid (Lauren) of Portugal and Laura Reid of Weymouth; her grandchildren, Alexis (Brian), Bryce, Meghan, Cameron, Joshua, Justin, Harrison, Jessica and Brennan; her sisters-in-law, Patricia Reid and Terrie Reid; and her siblings, Joan Jacobs, William Sharkey, Valerie Roche and Thomas Sharkey. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Homes (134 Pleasant St, Weymouth, MA 02190). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fairmount Cemetery (168 Cedar St, Weymouth, MA 02189).
