He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Alicia and Gary; his parents, Patricia Gillespie and Coogan; his wife Elisabeth Gillespie (Dunne); his daughter Alecia Pierce; his grandchildren, Shyann, Grace, Lily and Jazmin; his siblings, Leslie Gillespie Bacon of Weymouth, Scott Gillespie (Katherine) of Bridgewater, Patricia Homsy (George) of Plymouth, Patrick Gillespie (Lynn) of Weymouth and Stephen Gillespie; and his nieces and nephews, Keith Gillespie Bacon, Amanda Gillespie, Kaylyn Gillespie, Gianna Homsy, Frederick Dunne, Bobby Stapleton, David Stapleton, Jason Singerella, Jennifer Singerella, Kaitlyn Dunne, Ryan Dunne, Michael Savage, Brian Savage, Lisa Savage and Jeremy Baranya.
