She was predeceased by: her husband James Higgins; her sons, James Higgins and George Higgins; and her siblings, George LeGrice, Avis Zazecki and Edna Gilligan.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Higgins (Wanda) of North Carolina, David Higgins (Susan) of Plymouth and Lori-Ann Wyman (Richard) of Abington; and her sister Sharon Ellis. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
