It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Petersen of Weymouth, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Petersen and Anne "Mini" Zeoli; his stepfather Martin Zeoli; and his brother Alfred Petersen. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Petersen (Eacobacci); his sister Deborah Johansson (Lee); his sons, Steven (Liz), Gary and Scott (Ellen); and his sister-in-law Kathleen. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and two expectant great grandchildren.
