She was predeceased by: her parents, James Calhoun and Kathleen Calhoun (Farley); her significant other Stephen Girard; and her sisters, Rosanna Dias (Manuel) and Margaret McKeough (James).
She is survived by: her family, Bruce Springsteen and Huskies; her daughters, Kathleen Iacovelli (Michael), Jill Ordonez (JR) and Stephanie Girard-Garcia (Aluysio); her grandchildren, Mikayla, Maxwell, Aidan, Emerson, Tenzin, Yoshi, Lola and Gigi; her siblings, James Calhoun (Patricia), Kathleen Eaton (Richard) and William Calhoun (Ann); and her friend Rosemary Miller. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and their spouses and children.
Donations can be made in Joan's honor to her lifelong charity, St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Angel Fund for ALS.
