He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Diane; his children, David, Janet M. Lydon (John Cavendish) of Milton, Carol Lydon (Richard Weidmann) of Dorchester and Michelle Lydon (Quincy City Councilor) of Quincy; his grandchildren, John, Paul, Kristen, Roberta, Charles, Adam and Katie; his great grandchildren, Carter, Tighe, Penny and Leigh; and his parent Irish.
