It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Pamela I Helfrich (Weymouth, Massachusetts), who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Contino and Regina Contino (Pultorak); and her son William Helfrich. She is survived by: her husband Dr. William Helfrich; her children, Nicole Sullivan, Dayna Falla, Brett Curran, Kristen Mendl-Day and Susan Helfrich Jennings; and her brother William Contino (Diane). She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home - South (809 Main St, Weymouth, MA 02190). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Church (234 Pleasant St, Weymouth, MA 02190). They stood together, rooted in faith and companionship, as devout attendees at their church every week until the unprecedented times of COVID.
