It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Pauline E. Ryan of Weymouth, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 21, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary McCarthy and Martin McCarthy; and her daughter Paula Sluhocki. She is survived by: her children, John E. Ryan III of Quincy, Dennis Ryan of Weymouth, Mark Ryan of Brockton, Maureen Flaherty of Weymouth and Sheila A. Miller of Weymouth; and her siblings, Catherine, Julia Lorenz, John McCarthy, Mary Hogan, Joseph McCarthy and Francis McCarthy. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
