He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor F. Molisse and Carl A. Molisse; his grandmother Florence Condon; and his wife Claire Molisse (Murphy). He is survived by: his children, Weymouth Mayor Michael Molisse, Kathy Wilson (Rob), Steve Molisse, Dianne Fidrocki (Bill), Tom Molisse (Julie) and Brian Molisse (Jessica); his grandchildren, Kari-Ann, Rick, Tyler, Mariah, Olivia, Jake, Kaelyn, Tom, John, Michael, Ainsley, Mairin and Reese; his sister Eleanor Rose Ahearn; his siblings-in-law, Mel Ahearn, Connie Gill, Kathleen, Peter Keane, Richard Murphy, Susanne Murphy and Debbie Murphy; and his uncle Howard Pflaumer. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
