He is survived by: his wife Eileen Doyle Boyd; his stepsons, Michael Doyle of Weymouth and Stephen Doyle of Dorchester; his grandchildren, Amelia and Alec Doyle of Halifax; and his siblings, Deborah Grace of Holliston, Kevin Boyd (Denise) of Groton, Karen Boyd of Martha's Vineyard, Ethel Dilorenzo (Michael) of Waltham and Arthur Boyd (Doreen) of Salisbury.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home (1479 Washington St, West Newton, MA 02465). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Our Lady Help of Christians Parish (55 Commercial St, Weymouth, MA 02188).
