He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert M. Busby and Joan A. Busby (Ryan); his children, Ryan R. Busby of Weymouth and Amanda A. Busby (Colin Tiernan) of Buzzards Bay; his girlfriend Karen Perreault Duffy of Plymouth; and his siblings, Jayne M. Fitzgerald (Kevin) of Quincy, Michael J. Busby (Lisa) of Kingston, Daniel T. Busby (MaryBeth) of Chicago, IL., Joan A. Busby (James Arsenault) of Weymouth and Carolyn J. McWhirk (John) of Plymouth. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, friends.
