He was predeceased by: his daughter Elizabeth LaFavre; and his brothers, Joseph, William, James and Walter LaFavre.

He is survived by: his friend Harry; his spouse Gale S. LaFavre (Odendahl) of Weymouth; his children, Lauren Richmond (Craig) of Pembroke, Jeanne Fitzpatrick (Richard) of Cohasset, Deborah LaFavre (Joseph Forte) of Foxborough, Robert LaFavre of Braintree, Dianne LaFavre of Somerville, David Gross (Sonja Ferdows) of Superior, CO, Barry Gross (Erin Kao) of Naperville, Linda Kelloway (Daniel) of Marshfield and James Gross (Toni Ruscio) of Weymouth; his grandchildren, Brian, Jeffrey, Meghan, Matthew, Lindsey and Jenna; and his great grandchild Zaven. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
