With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert P. Mahoney of Weymouth, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Robert farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Robert is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Windy" Mahoney and Mary Mahoney (O'Donnell); and his brothers-in-law, Paul, John "Jacky" and William "Billy".
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Mahoney (Sparaco); his brother Dennis Mahoney (Patricia) of South Boston; and his sisters-in-law, Kellie Mahoney (Fitzgerald) of South Boston and Joan Mahoney (Baker) of South Boston. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
