He is survived by: his spouse Sherrill Berte; his children, Sean Berte (Jillian) of Roslindale, Elizabeth Berte of Dedham, Jillian Berte of Boston, Natalie Kokoros (Michael) of Braintree and Emily Berte of Weymouth; his grandchildren, Joseph, Matthew, Anna, Odin, Beatrix and Brooks; and his brother Michael Berte.
