It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas M. Ferris Sr. of Weymouth, Massachusetts, born in Quincy, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 16, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Ferris and Catherine T. Ferris (McAuley); his wife Phyllis L. Ferris (Pizzi); his child Thomas M. Ferris, Jr.; and his brother-in-law Robert M. Pizzi.

He is survived by: his sons, Steven M. Ferris (Rachael) of Weymouth and James M. Ferris (Theresa) of Boston; his grandchildren, Jordan, Catherine, Christine, Erin and Emily; and his siblings, Bernadette Fanning (Joseph) of Maine, David A. Ferris (Marie) of Hanover, Paul M. Ferris (Terry) of Abington, Theresa C. Macaluso (James) of Abington, Kathleen A. Burns (Edwin) of Whitman and Michael R. Ferris (Jacqueline) of Sterling. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“I met Tom and Phyllis years ago in Naples Florida.-after Hurricane Wilma. As it turned out they were very close to being family as my brother Tom was married to his niece Cheryl. He was sincerely nice and we had a lot of good times while they were here. He was very handy and helped us with projects. His kindness and thoughtfulness was appreciated.
