Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Valeria Kane (Weymouth, Massachusetts), who passed away at the age of 89, on December 23, 2022. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Keith Powell and Edward "Eddie" Kane; her parents, Valeria Durant (Lawton) and William Mowbray; her stepfather Joseph Durant; and her sister Adella Jarvis.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa Strug (Stephen) of Halifax, Neil Powell of Sandwich, Nancy Kane of Weymouth, Betsy Kane of Quincy and Polly Colligan (Eric) of Whitman; her grandchildren, Jason, Kristen, Meghan, Lindsey, Ronald, Brian, Cameron and Daniel; and her great grandchildren, Aiden, Evan, Ellie and Quinn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Above all, Valeria was a strong and graceful survivor; she won her battle with cancer twice in her lifetime, all while living with Parkinson's disease for 30 plus years.
