He was predeceased by: his wife Diane M. Cope (Brayshaw); and his grandson Justin. He is survived by: his children, William V. Cope Jr. (Nancy) of New Hampshire, Wendy Cope of Whitman and Danielle Cope-Sullivan (Sean D. Sullivan) of Weymouth; and his grandchildren, Cassandra, Derryk, Timothy, Taylor and Katrina. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
