He is survived by: his wife Debra Dempsey (Meigs) of Weymouth; his children, Michael Dempsey and Jen Dempsey (Alex Coe); and his brothers, John Dempsey (Vicki), Rick Dempsey (Robbin) and Steven Dempsey (Christine). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
