He was predeceased by: his parents, David Gunville and Elgie Gunville (McAskill); his wife Gail A. Lovett; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Clark and Richard Godin.
He is survived by: his children, Beth Jacobs (Tom), William and Amy; his grandchildren, Barrett (Mackenzie) and Thomas Jacobs (Chelsea); his great grandchildren, Jack and Maggie Jacobs; and his sisters, Mary Ann Clark and Claire Godin.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home (134 Pleasant St, Weymouth, MA 02190). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (720 Broad St, Weymouth, MA 02189).
