Robert L. Vander Baan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert L. Vander Baan of Whitinsville, Massachusetts, born in Worcester, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 30, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Baan and Tillie Vander Baan (Frieswyk); and his brother Donald Vander Baan. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn (Vander Brug); his sons, Jeffrey (Laurie Vander Baan) and Jay (Sherry Vander Baan); his grandchildren, Joshua (Katelyn (Lashley)), Justin, Emma and Kyle Vander Baan; his brothers, Lee (Monica Vander Baan) and Russell (Geraldine Vander Baan); and his friend Bob Koopman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Whitinsville Christian School, Endowment Fund, 279 Linwood Ave., Whitinsville, MA 01588.
