He was predeceased by: his parents, Meredith "Clyde" Ponds and Rebecca Wyrick Ponds. He is survived by: his wife Donna Ponds (Grant); his grandson Zachary Ponds; and his siblings, Rev. Sy Ponds (Jo), Linda Garrett (Freddie), Pam Russell (Steve), Mary Parker (Josh) and Cheryl Helms (Gary).
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. James Cemetery (518 Washington St, Whitman, MA 02382). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at 235 E Ashland St, Brockton, MA 02302.
