Melvin B. Coots Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin B. Coots of Whitman, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 27, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Christina Coots (Cutler); his parents, Leander J. Coots Jr. and Irene C. Coots (White); and his siblings, Barbara Rutan, Leander J. Coots III and Luella Gibbons.
He is survived by: his daughter Katherine I. Rodriques (Scott) of Attleboro; his granddaughter Abbigael Rodriques; and his siblings, Joseph Coots of Brockton, Ilene O'Donnell of Middleboro, William Coots of Brockton and Mary LaBarre of Brockton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
