He was predeceased by: his mother Irene Kanelopoulos; his aunt Vasiliki Cotchelas; and his brother Michael Kanelopoulos of Brockton. He is survived by: his children, Robert Kanelopoulos Jr. of Hanson, Alex Kanelopoulos (Meaghan) of Middleboro and Christina Deiuliis (Christopher) of Bridgewater; his grandchildren, Travis, Ryan, Alexis, Makenna and Evan; the mother of his children Deborah Bonnette Kanelopoulos; his sister Jane; his siblings-in-law, Fred Coderre of Brockton, Judy Burke and Kathleen Kijak; his nieces and nephews, Nina Hutchinson (John), Stephanie White (Johnnie), Michael Coderre (Paige) and John Kijak; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Waitt Funeral Home (850 N Main St, Brockton, MA 02301). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church (457 Oak St, Brockton, MA 02301).
