She was predeceased by: her parents, Johann Adolf Molter and Theresa Molter (Schott). She is survived by: her children, Diana Awiszus (Jurgen) of Germany, Tracy Molter of Chicopee, Dawn Molter (Mary Elizabeth Silva) of Ludlow, Denise Clark (Bill Chandler) of Ludlow and Donna Fields (Dave) of Ludlow; her siblings, Ingolf and Hans-Gorg Molter of Germany; her grandchildren, John Clark, Isaac Molter, Amber Trinidad (Frankie), Emma Fields, Jacob Fields, Alexander Awiszus, Anita, Christoph Awiszus, Tine, Dennis Awiszus, Marie, Pascal Awiszus, Sophie and Melanie Richter-Hermanns; and her great grandchildren, Natalia Clark, Jayla Clark, Valarie San, Sophia San, Tamara Awiszus, Tabea Awiszus, Levi Awiszus, Leonie Awiszus, Niklas Hermanns, Jonas Hermanns, Kilian Hermanns and Tizian Richter. She is also survived by brothers & 2 late sisters, many loving extended family members and dear friends.

Funeral services for Gerlinde will be held privately by her family and for those who wish to make a donation in Gerlinde's memory, may do so to The American Cancer Society.
