He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper C. Sloat, and Lena Sloat, Sr. (Ladue); his wife Angelina (Severino); his children, Joanne and Dan; and his sister Mildred Gregoire.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rosanna Tetreault (Mike) of Springfield, Diane Fryer (Steve) of Springfield and Lisa Rubner (Troy) of Wilbraham; his grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, Alicia, Shawn and Amanda; his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Noah and Alianna; and his siblings, Barbara Yelle, Joan Harris, Elaine Fumo (Bill), Jane Killip and Robert Sloat (Laura). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
