We bid farewell to Margaret A. Denby of Wilbraham, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 4, 2025 at the age of 91. Margaret touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid Margaret farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Margaret is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Metcalf, and Margaret Metcalf, Sr. (Eberlein); her siblings, William C. Metcalf Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Metcalf; and her close friend John R. Denby.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Denby (Kathy) of Windsor, CT and Margaret Hayes (Dan) of Paxton, MA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, along with countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wilbraham Funeral Home (2551 Boston Rd, Wilbraham, MA 01095). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Glendale Cemetery (376 Glendale Rd, Wilbraham, MA 01095).
