He was predeceased by : his parents, Leo M. Schifferli and Clara Mayer; and his daughter Mary. He is survived by : his children, Laura Gill (Skip), Alex, A. J. Kate and Tom; his wife Julie Rebholz; and his children, Annika, Serena, Naomi, Aurora and Toby.

The two eldest were daughters, Mary, who predeceased Roger during the Year of Covid, and Laura Gill, wife of Skip and mother of Alex.
