He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Emil Carlson and Ada Carlson (Hegstrom); and his siblings, C. Edwin Carlson, Emil Eugene Carlson and Eloise (Leisk).
He is survived by: his wife Ann Carlson (Gordon); his siblings, Elizabeth Henry of New Windsor and H. Earl Carlson (Helen (Phillips)) of Nashua; and his sister-in-law Marie Carlson (Blunda) of Manchester, Connecticut. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Waterside Cemetery (294 W Shore Dr, Marblehead, MA 01945). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (127 Summer St, Lynnfield, MA 01940).
