She was predeceased by: her parents, Narseco Benvenido De Guzman and Urbana De Guzman (Fuster). She is survived by: her daughters, Maria Forbes (Thomas) of Saratoga Springs, NY, Jane Williams (George Stribley) of Wilmington, MA, Nancy Williams of Wilmington, MA and Yvette Lovstad of Los Angeles, CA.; and her sister Nilda Palacios. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Emma's memory may be made to the MSPCA, Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844 or to the American Stroke Association, National Center, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.
