She was predeceased by: her parents, John Drinkwater Jr. and Celia Drinkwater (Vardaro); her sons, Sheldon F. Maga Jr. and Scott Maga (Michelle) of Billerica; and her brother John Drinkwater III.
She is survived by: her husband Sheldon F. Maga; her children, John Maga (Susan) of Harrison, ME, Steven Maga (Betty) of Billerica, Joanne Vultaggio (Peter) of Tewksbury and Judi Curcio-Hayes (Charles Hayes) of Wilmington; her great grandchildren, Aison, Christopher, Austin, Brody, Brielle, Brandon, Brooklyn, Winry, Lincoln, Skyla, Braelyn, Madison, McKinley, Colton, Ty, Jace, Celia, Emily, Andy, Frankie, Lucia and Scott III; and her siblings, Dennis Drinkwater (Jacqueline) of Magnolia and Debbie Doherty (Patrick) of Wakefield. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Joan would ask that donations be made to the towns Fourth of July committee in her honor continuing the "Fun on the Fourth" celebration she helped bring to the community.
