She is survived by: her husband John; her sons, Joe and Jay; her daughter-in-law Laurie; her grandchildren, Samantha and Matthew; her sisters, Debbie, Wendy, Susan and Mary; Kenny, Margaret, Mary and Tom. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nichols Funeral Home (187 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA 01887). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Joanie's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
