He was predeceased by: his parent Bartholomew J. Connors (Kiernan); and his brother William. He is survived by: his spouse Camille Connors (Rushing); his children, Christin Mainini (Jason) and Jennifer Connors-Perrow (Derek); and his siblings, James "Jimmy" Connors, Eileen "Karyn" Rock (Rick), Michael and John "Kevin" Connors. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, kindly make a memorial donation in Joe's name to the Charlestown Boys and Girls Club, 15 Green St. Charlestown, MA 02129.
